The Coach House at Rivendell is an idyllic stone cottage in a courtyard beside the Magical Barn which is also available on Airbnb. Set in a lush green valley with hills to wander around and pet lambs to feed, quaint little streams, the beautiful enclosed valley with its miniature waterfall and dark skies is delightful. All just minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Explore wonderful Northumberland, the Lake District to the West is an easy drive as is the Pennines to the South and Scotland to the North.

Swinburne Castle
Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Burn lodge is perfectly situated in an excellent area for exploring this beautiful part of the uk. Our lodge is self contained and has everything you require for a perfect break away. Charming interior with fitted kitchen, shower room and cosy bedroom. Hadrians wall is just a short drive away or travel further afield to the Heritage Coast, Alnwick Castle. The Great Border City of Carlisle or a shopping extravaganza in Newcastle. A lovely cosy self catering lodge what ever time of the year.

Melkridge is a friendly hamlet &spectacular countryside. We have a ground floor double bedroom and ensuite shower room. We are close to Vindalanda ,Housesteads etc. the cottage is set in a courtyard opposite The Coach House and next to my house. Pets very welcome. COVID 19 please follow advice from gov.uk when asking to book.

Cosy 17th Century Cottage
Peaceful and ideally located 17th Century cottage in Haltwhistle. Offering two bedrooms and one Bathroom upstairs and a fully equipped kitchen and living room downstairs. Perfect stopover for visiting the local historic sites and overlooking the 13th Century Church. Ample free parking within a 2 minute walk. Plenty of pubs, takeaways and two supermarkets also within a couple of minutes walk if you need any provisions. NOTE from 28th Sept 2025 the second bedroom is twin single beds.

The Blacksmiths cottage is ideally located in the centre of Haltwhitle positioned above the Brew bar which is open late some evenings. The flat consists of an open plan living room with a double sofa bed, well equipped kitchen, a shower room and a large bedroom with a double bed and a single day bed. Both the living room and bedroom both have views onto the market square. The cosy living room has a sofa, two chairs and a fold away dining table for eating at.
