Holiday rentals with a patio in Hamble-le-Rice

Monika was a brilliant host, the house was as described and very clean and well appointed. Excellent location for public transport and many excellent eateries to choose from. We stayed for two weeks and felt very at home.

This was our first holiday as a family and we felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully appointed and in a superb location with lots of walks and scenery. The area was very friendly especially for children with parks and play areas and the beaches are outstanding. Local shops including restaurants and bakeries & cafés were all very welcoming and very reasonably priced. It had been a long time since we had been to Southbourne and it didn’t disappoint along with the apartment. It made a perfect staycation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who are looking to have a good UK break.

Absolutely perfect place to stay!

We stayed here as a family of four after spending the day at Paultons Park, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to settle in and relax. It felt like a calm retreat after a busy day. We also used it as a base for a day trip to Christchurch and Mudeford Beach, which was about a 35 minute drive away. The location worked really well for exploring the area while still being tucked away somewhere quiet. Hannah was friendly and easy to communicate with, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located spot to stay in the area.

I rather loved my stay here in Southsea, opposite Ravelin Park, and close to so many attractions. Portsmouth Museum is just across the road, the seaside about 10 mins walk, the Historic Dockyard and gunwharf not much further. The apartment itself had all facilities and appliances anyone might want. It was clean, warm and fairly quiet, considering the busy traffic. The wifi, telly worked fine. I prefer the lockbox for the key too. All in all, quite perfect. I would happily stay there again.

Very nice apartment and well placed for going to Brockenhurst via walking and Lyndhurst by car. And was great to watch the local football team which was nice to experience

We visited Southsea for very sad reasons, it was my father-in-laws cremation so we needed somewhere close to Mum-in-law and having a wheelchair user with us meant finding a flat with little or no stairs. The garden flat was simply perfect for all of our needs with a beautiful, little outside patio that was a delightful sun trap. With everything at hand to make an emotional visit as easy as possible, I would thoroughly recommend Mark’s place. Its location is perfect for getting around Portsmouth and Southsea and we felt completely at home. Thanks, Kay, Kevin and Terry.

Fantastic caravan. Well equipped and spotless. Comfortable beds and lovely quiet location. My only gripe and my fault for not checking properly is that it’s not beachfront as described in the information. I’d say a 20-25 minute walk at a normal pace which is too far if you want to take chairs etc.

If you are thinking about starting an Airbnb, Mary’s place is a great example of how to do things right. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. Mary was pro-active, friendly and helpful and gave me clear instructions as to how to access the place, where to park etc. I have already booked for later this year and will find myself in the same area next year; I will be back!

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

It was a lovely place, a very good wide space for everyone to enjoy the evenings in. Lovely location for our needs with a very responsive host to answer all questions we had. Will 100% recommend.

My friends and I stayed overnight for my birthday and it was the best!!! The house is even more beautiful and spacious in person. Jude was also an amazing host and super lovely, she got me flowers, Prosecco and chocolate. It was all very sweet. The location is beautiful and she also gave us great recommendations! We had a great stay at Daniela's place, great location for the beach and both Shanklin and Sandown. Daniela was very responsive with the queries we had and the house was great, the garden is a sun trap. Would recommend it.

The flat was very clean and had everything we needed to make our 4 week last-minute stay nice and easy. Lukman was very helpful and communicative to anything we needed (not that we needed anything!). The flat was very clean and a great place to be for working and relaxing. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

Great apartment for a trip to beautiful coastline. It was very clean, had everything we needed and some nice welcoming touches. We went for a last minute getaway with an 8 week old and it was great. Being able to walk to the sea and see it from the balcony was lovely and so much to do in the area. Loved the copper bath and themed decor.

Thank you, Tina and Johnny for graciously sharing your stunning studio, garden and river access with me for the last week! The weather was incredible and I made the most of it, swimming in the river every day and enjoying my breakfast on the sunny decking every morning before heading to my training. I've stayed at some beautiful Airbnb places over the past decade but yours was the most magical! With bats, kingfishers, swans and geese and a very territorial pheasant! Couldn't recommend your place more highly. Thank you too, for the lift from the station and then meeting me at the station with my luggage (and dry swim gear!) on my final day. One final thing for potential visitors to consider is that the fridge can be noisy during the night, so bring some earplugs or Snoozeband if you're noise sensitive like me.

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

Fantastic apartment flooded with beautiful light and the most stunning views of the sea. So peaceful and quiet, well laid out and equipped with cool, funky decor. Perfect location really close to sandy Boscombe beach and ideal for exploring Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Dorset landmarks. Great for a family of four with the layout of the rooms.
