Monthly Rentals in Hambledon Hill

Lovely old cottage with beautiful decor. Denise was super responsive and her instructions and visitor book were second to none with the details! We checked in super easily and felt right at home with some lovely welcome treats! The village is great although a little quieter than we had anticipated - the white horse inn is a must. The stairs leading to the bedrooms are quite steep - being 7 months pregnant was a bit of a challenge but perhaps more of an oversight on our part there and not a fault of the home! Definitely the place to go if you plan to do lots of walking - beautiful scenic routes.

Had a great few days at Myrtle cottage. It is spacious, has everything you need, and the location is perfect in a quiet village with 2 great pubs, the Bakers Arms for a game of pool, and the Saxon Inn was so welcoming, really dog friendly and great food. Hambleton Hill is literally on the doorstep with stunning 360 degree views of the country side. We would definitely love to come back again.

Perfect place to stay whilst participating in the North Dorset Marathon. The route goes right past the location at 22 miles. Accommodation was spotless with very comfortable beds and a great big bath. Saxon Inn just minutes up the road serves a super roast. Nearby village Newton Sturminster has lovely walks.
