Stay in a listed building with storks! You are renting an entire house with approx. 175 m² of living space and a 400 m² garden. The stork village of Rühstädt in the Prignitz invites you to go hiking, cycling, relax and watch animals. The so-called Kossätenhof is the only listed private building in Rühstädt, with a residential house, former stables and a barn. Two pairs of storks with five young storks are currently nesting in the barn (June 2026)! Places with historic town centres, such as Perleberg, are easy to reach.

The former fisherman's house is an old half-timbered house from 1775 (cultural monument) and is located on the southern slope of the Domberg. The special thing about this house is the building materials. Only natural building materials such as wood, clay, lime, brick, hemp lime insulation and lime terrazzo floors were used. The house is open to diffusion and ensures an excellent indoor climate. From here you have a beautiful view over the Havelauen to the south and to the north on the vineyard.

Our four studio apartments – Ahorn, Linde, Kastanie and Birke – combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with a sense of lightness. All apartments are absolutely different and modernised by us. Ahron Cottage can accommodate two people on DB tickets. The apartments are part of "Herbsthausen", an ambitious cultural project in beautiful Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill into a future location for art, industrial culture, living, working, international exchange and recreation.

The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
