Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Welcome to our Dune Villa! Nestled in between 3 nature reserves, this is the perfect get-away to completely unwind. The villa is perfectly located to discover the Schoorl Dune Reserve, Hondsbossche zeewering and Harger- and Pettemerpolder. After a long hike or cycling trip, you can relax in the spacious bath for two in the stylish bathroom with windows overlooking the dunes. And from the recliner in the study you have a magnificent view of our beautiful 1,000m2 garden.

Unique accommodation in the garden of an old church. The Tiny house is small in size but large in living space! Relax on the terrace or in the forest garden. Dream away in the hot tub (optional €45 first day/€25 next days, will be stoked for you) under the stars and enjoy the silence. Wake up with sunrise and a view over the meadows. Completely new modern, luxury Lodge with sauna. Enjoy the tranquility and space from the living room and the terrace with unobstructed view of the mill. Relax in your private sauna and cool off outside on the terrace. Incl. use of bath towels and bathrobes. Within walking distance, you can order food from the Restaurant de Molenschuur. The Lodge is close to the center of Alkmaar and the beach of Bergen or Egmond. Also enjoy walking in the dunes in Schoorl.

We offer a warm, cozy and stylish cottage (+/- 30 m2), in the beautifully located Schoorl. The cottage on the Dam is new and equipped with every comfort. The cottage also has its own private terrace. We (Marike and Remco) welcome you and will make your stay in the cottage on the Dam as pleasant as possible, with service being our top priority. You can walk or cycle to the forest, dunes or beach. The municipalities of Bergen & Alkmaar are 10 minutes away.

This cozy summer house is located on our property behind our home. It has a nice kitchenette, a sitting area with a nice sofa, TV with WiFi, a dining area, 1 bedroom with a double box spring and a nice bathroom. The bed is made upon arrival. Outside, we have created a nice sunny space for you to use to your heart's content. Peace, space and from the street you have a view of the beautiful dunes of Groet.
