We had the most fantastic time here, we were met with a wonderful cream tea on arrival which was a lovely touch. The meadow view is just wonderful; we spent many morning watching the sunrise whilst drinking a cup of tea and even saw little bunnies bounce across the lawn. The walk around the farm was wonderful we saw so many deer. The local pubs serve wonderful food and are close by. The house itself is just so peaceful and has absolutely everything you need for cooking at home. The hosts have fantastic recommendations and the board games and games lawn were a great addition. We had an incredible time and cannot fault it one bit, we will be back

We had a second very comfortable stay.The nights were below freezing , but the cottage was warm and cosy from arrival. Highly recommend Prospect Cottage , it’s in a lovely village with the wonderful Bell inn a few steps away.

Place was amazing! Hosts were very responsive and made you feel at home. Previously I have lived in the area so it was pretty easy to get to but the instructions were clear either way. Didn’t use the hot tub but for anyone wanting to use it, it was in a lovely open garden 😊 would highly recommend this place and have already recommended it to friends and family!

We absolutely loved our stay. The accommodation was clean and well presented and perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and spacious. Maureen was a great host, very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Our kids loved the hot tub, and the layout of the rooms worked perfectly for us. Maureen gave very clear instructions on how to find it, so we had no issues there at all. We were able to go and see the new lambs, which was wonderful and the kids also made good use of the shared play area. Barnstaple is within 15 minutes by car and so it was easy to get to the supermarket, and there are a number of local activities that can be done. We will certainly look to stay again, thank you
