You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.
