Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

Fiona was a lovely, happy, sociable and well travelled individual. Her place was beautifully decorated and located perfectly for the Quayside and the city centre. My girlfriend and I would have loved to have spent a bit more time chatting and getting to know Fiona a bit more, which we were made extremely welcome and comfortable to do so, but we were exhausted from our travelling around days prior to our arrival in Newcastle, and as such this resulted in us retiring to our comfy bed in our cosy room earlier than anticipated. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Fiona's place for a pleasant and hassle free stay in the toon. 🙂

Fantastic apartment that has recently been refurbished and the pool table is a nice touch. The photos don't really do it justice as it is much bigger and airier than it looks on the advertisement. Comfy beds and the place was spotlessly clean. Tina responded quickly to any queries we had. With regards to parking, you may not always get parked directly outside, but there was always somewhere to park nearby - and for free. The beach is a few minutes walk down steps and nearly each room in the apartment has a sea view! There are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes within a few minutes walk - the Thai fusion restaurant - Coco & Rum was particularly good. We'll definitely be booking Sandy View apartment again in the near future. Highly recommended!

Exactly like the photos but the view is better. Lovely place for a relaxing few days, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Fawn’s place is comfy, has everything you could need and great for walking and visiting the area.

As a family of 4 including two tweens needing to get off their gadgets, we have LOVED this stay. The views and comfort of the house are phenomenal. As well as sightseeing, we made time just to chill at the house and enjoy time at the reservoir away from it all. This was made possible because the hosts have literally thought of everything and the layout of the house is brilliant for socialising together. The bedrooms are super comfy, the kitchen has everything and there are some nice perks like the log fire, underfloor heating and unbeatable views that just make the house so enjoyable to be in. We took mountain bikes and glad we did, there are endless well kept trails for walking and cycling right from the door and a great park for kids within a healthy walking distance. Communication and information provided were fab, and we will go back for sure!

We really enjoyed staying at the Boiling House in the picturesque village of Staithes. Our host David welcomed us and showed us around the property, which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We have two dogs and it was great exploring the local area and beaches with them. I would definitely recommend the Boiling House. Thank you David.

Lovely building. Plenty of space. Well decorated, uptodate-loved the master and kitchen. Very comfortable supportive beds. Downsides-no window covering in attic bedroom and some steep stairs with no handrail made it awkward for the children and upstairs WC very cosy but functional. Fab walks along the seafront/promenade. Beach 10 mins walk away-very big. Watch your step as dog poop galore-nothing to do with house owners but a shame. Walk the other way and great architecture and views across the working harbour. Host very communicative on a couple of slight issues. Recommended and hope to be back.

Had a lovely stay at the Old Watch House. Great views of the harbour. Staithes is a beautiful place. You do need to be fit to handle the hill out of the village and also paths around the village itself to get the best out of the area. Of the house itself it was everything we needed the only thing I would ask is that Clare considers replacing the sofas in the sitting room. Well used and quite uncomfortable after a short period of time in them. However the house was clean and well appointed. Bathrooms were lovely and clean and modern. We were very happy with the booking and house. We had a lovely family holiday with our teenage kids.

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

Saw dolphins leaping in April from the living room window! That's hard to beat. Cottage is clean, in a super location and easily walkable to all the key things to do in the village. Quiet at night and great to sit in the living room at night looking over the sea. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and fantastically located cottage. Mitch was freindly and responsive, even given us prior warning of a potential power cut. The house was well equipped, warm and clean. I would recommend staying here.

Great location overlooking the beach, really nice kitchen / living space which makes the most of the fantastic view. We caught the train, apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from the metro station - walk the last bit through Roker Park, it's very pleasant.

Melanie’s place is fantastic. Such a brilliant location in Seaham for everything we wanted to do and what an amazing view of the sea out front! Everything we needed for our short stay was provided and Melanie’s instructions for accessing the building were clear and helpful. The 50% off breakfast offer at The Lamp Room is definitely something to take advantage of - the food was fantastic and even better at those prices! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

A fabulous few nights at Chris's place, set right on the river in Durham. Beautiful apartment - all we could have wanted & more. Furnished & finished to really high standards - and the welcome treats were the icing on the cake. Everything in the city absolutely walkable. A genuinely lovely place to stay.

Amazing stay - we really felt right at home! The home was so clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Check in was easy and flexible. The location is perfect, so much to do in the surrounding areas and some really pretty walks nearby. We’ll definitely be staying again and have already looked at available dates. Honestly we couldn’t recommend this place enough!
