Relax in the hot tub with geothermal water and enjoy the nature, feeling the power of Fnjóska river streaming beside the cottage. The area has great hiking trails nearby. There are also waterfalls, active volcano and fishing spots a short distance away. Day trip to the Jökulsárgljúfur National Park, Dettifoss waterfall and Mývatn.

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Hàr is a cottage that can accommodate up to 5 people (2 single beds in a room, a single and a french size double bed in the other one). The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, a big living room and a bathroom with shower. Outside on the private patio a hot tube, a BBQ, table and chairs are available. Ytri Vík cottages are located by the Troll peninsula The location and its views are breathtaking and perfect for mountain skiers during the winter time, and for couples or bigger groups all year around. Would you like to relax in the hot tub, listen to the wild bird life and see the whales jumping around just a few meters from the shore in the summer time or enjoy the northern lights while you soak in during other months of the year. A private cozy guesthouse on a farm in Skagafjordur, North west Iceland. The perfect getaway for a nature loving couple or friends. The cabin has everything you need to relax. We built the house in 2022. One bedroom with big double bed and another with small double bed , fully equipped kitchen facilities (stove, oven, pots, plates, utensils and coffee maker) with a fridge and a private bathroom with a shower. Outside we have platform with chairs so you can enjoy the weather.

Láfsgerði is by the ring road, highway no. 1 and easy to find. The easiest way is to type the name into MAPS and it will take you to the location. Láfsgerði is exceptionally well located in terms of day trips to all the most interesting places in the northeast of Iceland; Goðafoss waterfall is a 5-minute drive away Lake Mývatnssveit 20 minutes' drive Húsavík 30 min. Dettifoss 90 min. Ásbyrgi 60-70 min. Akureyri 40 min. Siglufjörður 1h and 40 min.

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.

Near the cabin is a grill (summer months) and hot tub area. We are located 20km from Akureyri so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.
