The house is under construction and will be ready in the beginning of June 2024, that is why there are mere moments of the outside as the interior is not ready until then. The house has two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. The house is located about 3 miles from Kirkjubæjarklaustur, so is right between The black sand beach in Vík and The national park Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón to the east. From the house there are both views to Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

Scenic grounds

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.

Snæbyl Cottage 1

A warm and newly built cottage that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is 28m2 in size and is split into a bathroom and then a open space where is the kitchen, a living room and then a corner where the double bed is. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountainroad (F210).

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
