The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise, many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, about 35 min by car. You can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 minutes.

Lovely cabin by the sea near Bergen

Bring family or friends to this amazing place where you can be completely on your own. Unique place by the lake just a 10-minute drive from Indre Arna and Øyrane Torg, where you will find a shopping center and trains to Bergen. You can easily get to the cabin by train and bus, but there is room for several cars outside. The cabin is about 15 minutes walk from the bus stop and 800 meters to the public swimming area. The cabin has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The cabin is now painted in gray color.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

You can definitely get around by public transport, however, a rental car will normally be preferable. The busstop is 3 minutes away and you can get to the City in 30 to 40min by bus. We can help you plan your transport from the airport. There is a big garden and a park close to the appartment. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
