Castle holiday rentals in Haute-Marne

The Orangerie is very beautiful, Pierre and Jeffrey have decorated it charmingly and we felt immediatelly at home. The garden is very large an quiet and we enjoyed sitting in the shadow of the large trees when the weather was hot. The kitchen provides you with everything you need, we didn‘t miss a thing. Quemingy-sur-Seine is a small village in a rural area, if you like sightseeing you have to drive but there are many things worth visiting. Jeffrey and Pierre are very friendly and helpfull.

The abbey is a beautiful location for an overnight stay. The atmosphere, the history, the long corridors, the vaults and authentic details are in one word amazing. Room Mureaux has a double bed and views over the estate and the pond. The room has special wallpaper and a super high ceiling. The (shared) bathroom is down the hallway but because there are 3 showers and two separate toilets this is no problem at all. Beautifully bright, light and with large mirror. Rosita is a sweet hostess with good tips (restaurant Cantharel) and in the morning there was a delicious breakfast buffet ready (book on the spot). Next x I will go at least 2 nights to enjoy the area even more.

Original castle B&B in the small village of Orain. Smooth communication with the host. Breakfast in a superb location. Recommended.

Our stay was great. We were able to rent the castle for our wedding and so could do our secular ceremony, the wine of honor and accommodate part of our family and friends to be able to extend the event the next day with brunch. We even had the pleasure of discovering renovated spaces.

We stayed in the cottage for 1 night while passing through. The reception was very friendly and flexible. Everything we needed was present, everything very well taken care of. There was a sweet breakfast provided.

Very unique place to stay. the road drives right under/through the castle. it was a fun place to stop for the night. breakfast is provided and it is delicious! Xavier was so kind and he was a great host- there if we needed anything but not over bearing in any way. highly recommend!

The castle was amazing, we stayed in the Sequoia suite. This was large, beautiful decor, everything we could wish for. Plus a tower room! And the bed was at least 2.5 meters wide, fantastic! The castle is full of the nicest trinkets, there are so many original details to discover. Every day, Brigitte gave us a route map with tips in the region to supplement our own plans. Really very convenient, we have visited so many beautiful places. When we came back, play a game in one of the beautiful spaces of the castle. Followed by a delicious 3-course dinner from Brigitte. We even got 2 recipes, it was so delicious! We enjoyed the castle, the surroundings and the enormous hospitality of Brigitte. We would love to come back again! Brigitte thanks for everything!
