Beachfront holiday rentals in Hawke's Bay

one of my all time favourite holiday stays in the north island, loved sharing it with friends this time. Simple in the best possible old school kiwi bach sense, but with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Wonderfully remote to get away from it all, beautiful scenery and fantastic outdoor space to relax in any weather.

Very tranquil and private place to stay. Thanks heaps Paul for the homemade toast (my wee one enjoyed it so much). Close to Napier city (10mins drive) and lots of good restaurants within short drive distance. We walked our dog to the beach in the morning and everything was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay around Napier.

Outstanding house, right on the beach (almost in the waves) , clean, spacious and well equipped

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angela's place. Beautifully presented and ideal layout for 4 adults. The fireplace was fantastic after a very wet day at the racetrack. We walked up to Ploughmans for a casual pub dinner which we all enjoyed and was an easy stroll back down the hill. Would love to stay again.

The home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach, the view was incredible and the neighborhood was outstanding. Annette was easy to communicate with and she responded quickly to any questions. I would definitely stay at this home again when I return to New Zealand.

Carolyn’s house is a true gem! the house is spacious, great bathroom and very well stocked kitchen. and the location!!!! the grounds literally touch Lake Taupo, it does not get better!! The communication with Carolyn was very easy, she also responded always very quickly. We had so wonderful days at the house, and can’t recommend it enough

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

Wonderful place, such a great location. Great front deck with the best view around, and a great quiet back deck area shielded from the weather. 5/5 would stay again!

Fantastic place, from the apartment, the complex to the staff it's everything and more. The kids enjoyed the space, the pool and games room and we had everything in the apartment we could ask for. We will certainly be back.

We enjoyed our stay with Hieke and Peter. They are very friendly and flexible and made us feel at home immediately. The room was spacious and had a walk in closet with plenty of room for our belongings. Their house is less than a block away to walking paths along the coast. We didn't have a chance to meet Hieke but we enjoyed chatting with Peter about his background, New Zealand life and recommendations for the area. We greatly appreciated the nice breakfast with eggs, use of the hot tub and the washing machine. We would defintely stay here again, given the opportunity!

Great location, straight onto the beach. Went to sleep listening to the waves. Ran 10Km in both directions on safe paths by the water. Local fish & chips too. Big comfy bed. Basic but everything I needed, loved it. Very friendly hosts.

Very sweet accommodation, spotless clean, comfy bed and all you need. We even jumped into the pool, very refreshing but a great extra to the place.

Clean and tidy apartment, right on the waterfront, ample parking and a 10 minute walk into the hustle and bustle of Taupō. Recommended.

Nicest Air BnB we’ve stayed at in NZ. Love the lake at our back door. Kids loved the paddle board and kayaks. House was incredibly clean and beautifully renovated. We would love to stay again.

The accommodations exceeded our expectations!!! We were a group of five and we had plenty of room. Everything was well appointed. Location, amenities and view made us feel like we were at a home away from home. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing property.

Kerry was a great host, offered new linen in a few days into our stay and was welcoming of our little baby. Beautiful location, guest house was probably too small for us having a one year old but it is advertised for couples. We were thankful for Kerry allowing our baby to stay too

Stunning location. Stepping out onto the beach was absolutely divine Geraldine was a lovely host, responsive and helpful. Very cute location. I would love to go back. Very doable to get to Gisborne especially if you hire a car.

Loved our stay. So close to the beautiful, mostly deserted beach - which was ideal. Loved the wrap-around deck, ideal for soaking up the morning and afternoon sun.

Fantastic place to stay, nice and secluded away from main city but close enough to go and enjoy the best parts of Napier and the surrounding area. Awesome hosting and, as my wife said, "Duke the daschund was the best part".

Fantastic house nestled under the stunning cliffs and just a short walk away from beautiful Kairakau beach. This was our second stay here and it was another wonderful stay. There is plenty of room in the house for 3 couples with lovely big living/dining areas and a spacious kitchen, and having three bathrooms is a real luxury. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a long weekend escape at the beach with friends or family!
