Monthly Rentals in Hendra

I had a great time staying here, Tara was super accommodating and welcoming. The place was very neat and tidy, I highly recommend if you want a quiet stay somewhere on the North side :)

Plenty of space for 8 Ladies for 2 nights, was stocked well with what was needed for a comfortable, stress free weekend, was clean,tidy and well thought out. Enjoyed the pool even though it rained all weekend 😬 Location was perfect for our itinerary as we were able to catch ubers everywhere without it being too expensive. Check in was easy and smooth with great communication from the host. Will definitely recommend Hendra Retreat to others as well as stay here again myself in the future. 👍😀

I felt lucky to stay in such a cosy house and look forward to returning for future trainsits. A few notes of possible interest to potential guests: The room has glass doors with white curtains, so it might be tricky for very light sensitive sleepers. The bed was on the short side. I'm 160cm and slept kind of diagonally. Taxi fare (trains stop around 10pm) from the int'l airport was AUD29; train fare AUD22. I assume guests were welcome to poke around, because that's how I figured out where the toilet, bathroom, towels, hair dryer.. trash.. everything, was. I still feel borderline uncomfortable about having tested closed doors in the shared area, but I also appreciate this as a sense of the level of trust/faith Sascha places in her guests. (I didn't receive any response on these matters through messages, largely because I only messaged at 10pm and left before 8am the following morning.) Overall, congrats to Sascha for her beautiful home!

It was raining pretty heavily when I was coming and going to my firend's 60th and Jonathon very thoughtfully left a large umbrella at the entrance for my use. Thank you for your valuable contribution to a good weekend.
