You’ll love me because of my cosy fire, the views, and the location, just off the A1. Im good for couples, solo adventurers, families and furry friends (pets). 10 mins north of Alnwick - so visit the castle where Harry Potter was filmed. Walking, castles, beaches are amazing here. The coastline is beautiful or go and grab some crab in Craster.

A spacious self contained cottage for two with double bedroom. Open plan living area with feature arched windows overlooking the garden. Safe parking is adjacent to the cottage and secure storage for bicycles is available. WiFi is free of charge within the cottage. No smoking. No pets.

It's fully equipped for self-catering and is within a minute's walk of a great pub if you don't fancy cooking. Its name is our little touch of whimsy because we immediately thought of a signal box when we first saw it with its exterior wooden panelling.

The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.
