Our mökki is located on the wooded southern shore of Lake Möhnesee. And it brings a touch of the Finnish way of life to the space. The cottage stands close to the lake, in a secluded location and surrounded by trees and shrubs. It has its own outdoor sauna, a boat and a wood-burning stove. Welcome to your private hideaway!

The apartment was renovated according to ecological renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls, solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows, the apartment offers fantastic views of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. Very central, 2 min. to subway, 5 min. to all restaurants/ shopping centers and the lovely historic city of Oberursel, 10 min. along the Urselbach(little creek) to the swimming hall . Frankfurt/M. 10 min. by car or 20 min. by subway. Oberursel is directly located at the Großer Feldberg with lots of excursion possibilities.

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

In the stables – side by side with chickens and horses

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
