Holiday rentals in High Shoals

The home on the lake was absolutely perfect for meeting family for a long, relaxing weekend. The home had everything we could ask for. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the appliances, cookware, utensils and space to prepare large meals for everyone. We even smoked two shoulder roasts on the Big Green Egg. The three comfortable couches provided all the sitting space we needed to enjoy movies at night and The Masters during the day. Outside, the we all enjoyed the hot tub, sitting by the firepit and enjoying lake time on the dock and the boat we rented. Such a great place. When we return to Lake Norman and need a rental, Brenell's place will be at the top of our list.

Tom was so incredibly friendly and helpful. My husband brought his kayak, and Tom helped him get it down to the water. That kind of hospitality was unexpected but so appreciated. The house was perfectly sized and furnished for our needs. The view was amazing, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful week.

We stayed in Martha's home for 2 nights and it was a great place. The neighborhood was beautiful, and walkable to restaurants and groceries. It was peaceful and comfortable and we would definitely return for another stay. Martha was also very helpful after we had checked out, notifying us that we'd left something behind. She secured it for us until our daughter, who lives in Charlotte, could pick it up. 5 stars!

This home was beautifully appointed in every way. The views from the porch and deck were breathtaking, and we loved hearing all the birds at sunset and in the morning. The hot tub was just what we needed after a weekend camping! The kitchen was lovely to cook in, and the beds were very comfortable. This would be a perfect spot for a small family reunion- there are nice parks and restaurants nearby, but it is a perfect place to stay and relax too. We would love to stay here again!

The house had almost everything we could have wanted. Our time here was spent looking out over the river as the sun rose on our table. We played in the game room and chilled in the jacuzzi. And at the end each day we took long hot showers and went to sleep in soft beds. The host, Jayme was great and very responsive. We would stay here again.

Absolutely magical! This lake house exceeded all our expectations and offered the perfect blend of adventure and serenity. The kitchen was a dream: spacious, beautifully equipped, and ideal for gathering and cooking together. We especially loved the screened-in porch, where we enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee and evenings filled with conversations. The double decks right on the water made every moment feel like a postcard. The fire pit at the water was also a favorite gathering spot. The pedal boat, kayaks, and jacuzzi added so much fun and relaxation to our stay. We loved paddling around the lake by day and unwinding in the hot tub under the moonlight. Though the access road was a bit steep and winding (just take it slow!), the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in total calm. Zen is the perfect word. And being just 12 minutes from a grocery store was very convenient. Highly recommend.

We felt right at home when we walked through the door! We love the fact that the light switches were labeled with what they were for and on top of that it was very clean inside!

This tiny home was such an amazing stay, it was very clean, comfortable and inviting. My husband and I were able to use the Kayaks and go fishing all morning. Really great little tiny house community with so much to do on the property. We really enjoyed every bit of it!
