Best airb&b we have ever stayed in and the best host too!!! Beautiful place, palatial, spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped for comfort. Tim is a wonderful host, proactively sent us instructions to make the place easy to find and access. Provided milk, eggs, loaf of fresh bread and basics you typically have to rush to buy in an airb&b upon arrival. This was a life saver with 3 young kids we had. Also, Tim's kids were lovely wnd friendly, gave us a tour of the lovely wilderness around the manor, kindly allowed our kids to play with their toys and Guinea pigs, wish we could stay longer!!! Best experience we have ever had, kids loved it, we adults loved it. Not to forget, the food docks are a quick 20 min drive with lots of food options. The Fairview Garden centre and tea room is highly recommended, couple of miles away, serves lovely breakfast. Would love to return to the place. Thank you Tim for making our visit comfortable and special.

I had a lovely stay at Mike and Jan's place. Easy to find and with parking. Jan explained everything clearly when checking in and was very nice and friendly. Great communication from the hosts. The whole place was clean and tidy. Very comfy sofa. It was lovely to have an enclosed outdoor space for my dog. Shower pressure was great, I had a nice hot shower! Comfy bed and pillows. The kitchen had everything I needed during my stay. Thank you for everything!

If you are looking for a romantic escape from the city or a digital detox, look no further. Gillie's Shephard's hut is charming, peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature (not to mention 2 friendly horses that complete the picture). I spent 2 days and nights here with my wife unwinding, hiking in the local hills and valleys, and soaking up the sun. We cooked every meal on the wood burner, spent the mornings doing yoga on the decking, and curled up on the sofa in the evenings with a book, or watching a series. We adore staying in Shephard's huts, cabins, etc. and I would say this is one of the best: secluded, a little larger than some, and with a good shower and loo (as opposed to an outdoor compost loo etc). You really do have the whole world to yourself, and Gillie was an excellent host - hugely helpful and communicative, but then left us to ourselves in peace. We look forward to returning.

I think this is the best air BnB we have stayed in. It is beautifully appointed inside and out Kirsty is so friendly and helpful but the cottage and garden are still completely private. it felt just like we were coming back home each day after fantastic long walks with the dogs. Would love to go to stay again one day - we couldn’t fault anything!
