Monthly Rentals in Hightae

Great stay at this lovely caravan. Beautifully decorated and even left Easter eggs on the beds for our children!

Once again, an excellent stay in Hightae at John's cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable, private, stress free break. The village is delightful, the residents friendly and the surrounding countryside is stunning with hill & field views from the windows. John is a responsive and accommodating host. Our stay was perfect - many thanks.

Quiet, lots of space and amazing views all around! Host is very helpful and will go out of their way to help with nothing you need. Kitchen fully loaded for a full days worth of cooking with kids etc! (You may need to bring small cutlery for the very little ones) Also a quiet but large Tesco Extra down the road, so not too far for everything you will need. Stop in Moffat for a great breakfast or drinks and head up to st Mary’s loch with the kids and if you have enough energy go and walk up towards grey Mare’s Waterfall

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.
