Holiday rentals in Hillsboro

Mike and Amy were amazing hosts! Super responsive, lovely home, and clear communication. Their house was clean and comfortable, and they have so many little amenities that make for a great stay. Full kitchen, throw blankets, soft towels. They are clearly consummate Airbnb hosts; I will absolutely look to stay at their properties the next time I travel through their area.

Would definitely recommend the loft! We had a short but wonderful stay. Everything was spotless, updated, and comfortable, and Stephanie was a phenomenal host! Very accommodating for our check in/checkout time, responsive, and just generally very friendly. Should I be in the area again I would definitely return! Thank you for such a great stay!

Overall had a good stay. There were a few minor inconveniences but nothing huge. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. The microwave has some sort of shortage where it only worked sometimes. There are dogs surrounding the house that would bark every time we went outside.

Very peaceful stay! There was a fire waiting for us in the firepit. Plenty of space inside and out. There is plenty of outdoor space to walk or just sit and relax. There is a doggie door that makes it so easy to let my pups out. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Christine's place was nice. The house was huge and had a usable garage. Also had a baby room which i never seen in a Airbnb. Overall great stay and only 20 mins from Lake Shelbyville!

Great little country house! Great for a getaway or just if you want somewhere to relax or sleep:) I loved all the baby animals. The house was perfect for our needs. The owner is so sweet and nice! Definitely somewhere we will stay again! If you love country living it’s the place for you!

I can’t stress how awesome this place is. We came to my husband’s hometown to get married, and were not expecting to find such a gem in Taylorville. We will definitely be back! The host even provided us two bottles of champagne and a warm-hearted greeting card celebrating our occasion.

Great house stocked with everything you need for your stay. They have thought of everything. Super clean, luxury linens, comfy beds. Couldn't ask for anything else!
