Nestled in the quiet woods just north of Mt. Monadnock our cozy one bedroom apartment invites the outdoors in with peeks of the mountain through the trees. Sit out on your private deck and enjoy the view or stroll around the yard and pick a few blueberries in season. We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues. I like to think of it as a peaceful sanctuary that we'd like to share with you.

Large Private Lake House

Spacious lake house with a private beach, directly on Lake Todd in Newbury, NH, located within the Lake Sunapee Region. Fish for bass, pickerel or swim/boat to one of the lake's three islands. Relax on the water or on one of the large decks overlooking the lake. Enjoy local outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, golfing, fishing & kayaking. Mt Sunapee ski area is only 10 minutes down the road. Enjoy ice skating and cross country skiing right out your door in the winter or cozy by the fire.

Vermont Botanical Studio Apartment

This room is one half of a floor in our studio building (35 sq m). It is the only occupied space in the building, which is separated from the main house by a yard. There is a queen-sized bed, full bath (no-curb shower), and an outdoor shower (not available in the winter) Small kitchen with a sink, fridge, 2-burner induction hob, microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee pot, and cookware. Arched ceiling, with ceiling fan, large windows, deck, and Maggie's botanical art lining the walls.

Sleeps 2-3 people with 1 Queen and 1 single bed. Walkout basement with own entrance, separate bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and patio with outdoor gas grill. Nice yard in wooded area, rivers, lakes and mountains with four season recreational activities nearby. Suitable for 2-3 people. No pets, no smoking, no drugs.

Our guest studio is close to Lake Sunapee, Mount Sunapee, Pleasant Lake and Otter Pond. You can snow shoe from the front door and skiing, hiking, boating, shopping are minutes away from our quiet home on a New Hampshire scenic byway. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with 1 or two small children are welcome. We have a small sofa bed and a pack and play sleeper in addition to a king bed with a luxury mattress.

We recently added an outdoor shower in addition to an indoor claw foot bath tub. There is a small private outdoor deck. Lots to do in the surrounding area, but most people don't want to leave this beautiful setting. You can really unplug with no WIFI! (Pets are not permitted)
