Lake Berry hideaway

This is a Lake house on Berry Lake. Enjoy the lake sitting on the porch enjoy your drink of choice while watching the ducks and swans swim across the lake. Bring your fishing poles and fish from the dock. You can launch your canoe or kayaks from the community beach area just a short distance from the house. We are close to Hillsdale College, antique shops, other lakes, and Amish stores. Our home is fully stocked with bedding, towels, laundry supplies, kitchen supplies, as well as internet.

2 Kayaks and 1 paddle board on location provided with your stay! Our cozy home offers a great location on Clear Lake with only a short walk to the sandy Public Beach, as well as the Public Access where you can put in your water toys! The backyard has ample space for parking in the 3 car driveway, a fire pit, grill, and a small back deck. Across the street is a Clear Lake conservation area with pet friendly walking trails! There is a nearby dog park, and an ice-cream shop down the street.

Relax in the living room, spin some vinyl on the turntable, and cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen. The coffee station has an espresso machine, drip, and Chemex.

Welcome to our family lake house! We hope that you enjoy this fun, relaxing escape as much as we do! There’s beautiful wildlife, great fishing, and you might be lucky enough to see an owl or a baby turtle! Additionally, Lake Diane provides several nearby areas of enjoyment including 2 playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, a convenience store with soft serve ice cream, and a restaurant. You may get to visit with the Amish as they pass by on horse and buggy offering freshly baked treats.

This is a rare opportunity to be the only guests on a secluded 220 acres of gentle hills with grasslands interspersed with trees and ponds. Explore natural ecosystems and witness sustainable grazing of sheep. The back yard is filled with an organic vegetable garden and behind that are honeybees. Your family may participate in any and all of it. The newly renovated apartment is the upstairs of my farmhouse. It includes a private entrance, full kitchen and deck overlooking the lake.
