Our accommodation is a private, entire-house rental (3DK, 46㎡). It can host up to 6 guests, with one queen bed (for 2 people) and four single futon sets (for 4 people). For the most comfortable stay, we recommend 2–4 guests. --- ● Property Details This is a single-story traditional house with beautiful exposed beams and an open, airy atmosphere. **Japanese-style Living Room (6 tatami mats)** A relaxing space with a sofa and low table. We recommend enjoying the uniquely low perspective of traditional Japanese living. Futons stored in the closet can be laid out here for use as a bedroom. **Japanese-style Bedroom (3 tatami mats)** This room features a queen bed. **Japanese-style Room (4.5 tatami mats)** Located right by the entrance. A cozy space where you can sit on a single sofa, read a book, or enjoy tea. The closet can be used to store suitcases. This room can also be used as a bedroom by laying out futons from the 6-tatami room. **Dining Kitchen** A bright space with natural light streaming in from a skylight. Equipped with a dining table for four, kitchen facilities, and a washer-dryer. **Bathroom** Compact, clean, and comfortable. **Washbasin** A renovated space that blends retro charm with usability. **Toilet** Equipped with a washlet for your comfort. **Loft (2nd floor)** For safety reasons, guests cannot enter the loft, but you can still view the traditional Japanese roof structure. ※ There are two air conditioners/heaters. As this is a wooden house over 70 years old, please note that it may be a bit cold in winter. --- ● Parking Please park in the parking space on the right side of the building. Up to two cars can be parked in tandem (one behind the other). Please note that the road in front of the property is one-way, so please be careful when approaching the property. You can also enjoy handmade ceramic coffee cups crafted by the owner’s father, as well as a matcha tea set prepared by the owner’s mother. Basic seasonings provided: olive oil, salt, and pepper.

This is one of the few remaining Shoin-zukuri-style, purely Japanese buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.One step from the main street, there is a small Japanese-style garden in a quiet environment where you can relax. Some of the items on display at the Dance House include a vase that partially melted due to the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945, as well as photographs from around 100 years ago. The fittings and glassware date back more than 70 years, and the two gardens, the irigata (raised floor area), and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house. At present, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of craftspeople. Of the five rooms, three are tatami-mat rooms; please sleep on the tatami mats with your futon on top at bedtime. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well.
