Really enjoyed my time in Comatillo. Don't get me wrong the villa is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, but what really made me fall for this place was the surrounding area. Located in the confluence between 2 rivers (Comate and Comatillo) it is peaceful and magical. A pristine countryside marvel with the luxury of modern amenities.

Located on a hill with beautiful ocean views in the distance. Plenty of rooms with comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Very clean! As described in the listing there is no hot water and no laundry on site.

We spent 4 days here with our rather large family and extended family that included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The place consists of actually 3 buildings. The main building sleeps most of the guests and has a full kitchen. A smaller building sleeps fewer guests and has an even larger kitchen. The 3rd building has 2 bedrooms and above them is a large gazebo. This was where we spent almost all of our time. The pictures do it no justice. Plenty of seating and a large space for kids to run around and for everyone to dance and move around. A perfect gathering spot for a large family. We had heavy rain on and off for 3 days. If you live in the Dominican Republic, as we do, you know that power outages are not uncommon. This facility has a solar backup so the major appliances like the fridge and freezer stay powered. The caretaker on site is named Julian. One of the nicest gentleman I’ve ever met. He was always available and helped with everything or anything you need.

The location was exactly as described, the outdoor space was great. We enjoyed exploring the area and everyone was very friendly. Ricardo was amazing and Wendy was always very attentive to any questions and kind. Overall, our experience was great!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Caramar. It's a very quiet place with a fantastic view on a beautiful beach, where we didn't encounter anyone outside some fishermen. The house is cozily furnished with everything you need. There are three rooms with no ceiling with a roof of palm leaves. To get there, it's best to have a 4x4. Leonel clearly explained to us how to get there and we were well received. Looking forward to going back!

beautiful house with a gorgeous porch overlooking the valley, well equipped and sparkling clean. Communication and check in were excellent. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to chill in the hammocks again.

Nice nice but the gate did not look at it was always open and there was a person always screaming as an employee but nice the place

We had an excellent time, the place is very quiet and very comfortable, the rooms are very clean as well as the entire house. Perfect place to spend a few days with family and friends.

Good place for stay with our family and have a really good time. Everything was just as we need to be comfortable close to every interesting place in Samana. We will really come back in the future. 👍🏼

It is a very good place to spend as a family, very organized, clean and quiet, and has a nice view of the village of San Cristobal, it was totally worth it. We hope to be back soon.
