Janet made our stay very comfortable and was accommodating even though there was a mixup in the number of guests. Her house is very beautiful.

I really enjoyed staying with Thomas. His place was beautiful and it has an amazing view. Lots of space in the room and the house as a whole. They offer food and drinks at their house as well, for a price, so it's nice to know you won't always have to run out if you happen to be craving a coke. Friendly people and very helpful in all ways. Highly recommend!

Good accommodation. Well located in the galley sector, steps away from supermarkets, shops, restaurants and the beach. Pretty cozy. Udo prepared details and toiletries for my husband and me, like a real hotel would. Although we were only able to see it once, the host was in permanent contact with me and that is appreciated. From start to finish. Very satisfied with the paid and the service received.

Great stay, very quiet which is what we were looking for.

What an excellent little place!! We were thoroughly pleased and appreciative of this sweet little cottage. We were looking for simple, clean, peaceful, accommodating for our little dogs, close to the beach and at a reasonable price (a little difficult to find) but,… this met all our expectations. We were especially pleased with the pleasant interactions with Vanessa and how peaceful this location truly was. She was responsive to any questions we had. We had our own private enclosed yard which worked well for two little chihuahuas… so no problems with her dogs and ours. Her own pets were precious and friendly. Everything was lovely. The map directing to the house is not accurate but, Vanessa sent us a pin and we were able to find it easily. It’s in the middle of the Perla Marina neighborhood, with guardsmen at the entrance of the neighborhood and walking distance to the beach. We felt safe and secure.. we slept peacefully.. it’s a repeat location for us!

It was an good place to stay

For us, the time at Jarabacoa was the best time we ever had and the reason is Dianas family! (Diana wasn't there, but frequently asked or called if everything was fine.) Her father Ramon and his driver picked us up or drove us to whereever we needed, got us to a supermarket, showed us beautiful places, helped us with organizing river rafting, invited us to eat with him traditional food and even got us another place to stay in another city, where we also had a great time with family members. The house itself is a bit outside in the mountains, very quiet and in the near of Waterfalls and river rafting. You have a lot of space inside and on the wonderful veranda. For cooking, it is a good idea to bring your own stuff like oil and spices, but we got whatever we asked for from Ramon, so that's no big problem. There even is a brand new barbeque with great view in the garden. You have to know, that the house is a bit old, but the important things are nice and clean, like beds and bathroom. There were also a lot of towels, which is great. All in all, the hosts and the surrounding area were the things that made our stay wonderful. We are overwhelmed by their hospitality and easy going kindness! All that made the time more special than any tourism resort place could ever do...

Property worth comparing with a 5 star hotel. The hosts are so kind and willing. Ideal for family groups, air conditioning in all rooms, space for grills, equipped kitchens, 2 pools, by the highway (easy access). This rating is for 11 people who agreed on the same criteria. We'll be back soon...

After 4 homes in the Dominican Republic in 15 days, it's the first one with a little noise. Clean space with hot water and flow. The listing matches the description. Hernando is very welcoming and very smiling. I recommend!!!

Excellent place. Nicol was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Mr. Pablo was very helpful. I was always looking out for us and assisting us in whatever we needed. The place is suuuper big, you can do many outdoor activities. Everything is excellent!

Mrs. Margarita, who welcomed us into the house, was like a mom to us, took care of us and helped us with everything we needed. The house is as such as in the photos, it is very clean and has everything you need for a long stay, from kitchen utensils to towels and clean sheets. In addition, you can have access to washing machines, the air dries clothes almost in a few hours! The house has air conditioning in the room and a fan on the social side, although it is a little heatable. It is important to know that there are puppies and cats around the property, but they are very tender and behave very well.

Despite the rough roads to get to the place, it was very accommodating. It’s a like a small luxury villa. I like how the inside of the room looks like, even the bathroom, very modern and clean. The host was very friendly and responsive. Always was available to help. I would definitely come back next time

It is hard to say enough good things about my stay! The place is in a great location and situated deleted in a private area in the back of the house. I felt right at home in the location and with the great family that hosts it! There is a battery backup system which keeps the lights, fan, and Wi-Fi going if there is a power outage. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and convenient for walking.
