The large floor to ceiling windows provide a fantastic panoramic view of the beautiful mountains that surround the boathouse. Something that invites peace and relaxation. The boathouse is located close to famous areas such as Trollstigen, Geiranger, Aalesund and Atlanterhavsvegen. In the immediate vicinity are the alpine facilities at Fjellsetra and Strandafjellet. Sunnmørsalpene is known for its fantastic hiking area in summer and winter.

Jølet- Elvedrømmen

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

If you like to go on top tours on skis, we have ski in, ski out in the winter. We have the great Berdalsnibba right behind us.

Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!

By the car park is the own boat you can use on the beautiful Raustadvatnet, very good fish in the lake. Fishing licenses can be purchased at farm no. 2 at Rørstad from Kalvatn. Easy path up to the cottage, with gate and stairs last piece. Cozy outdoor area with barbecue. Here you will find peace in the middle of nature with the Sunnmørsalps around it.
