Holiday rentals in Hochkar

We had a super nice and relaxing holiday – full of hikes, cycling and tennis! The location of the accommodation is simply ideal, in a small, quiet village with enchanting views of nature. The apartments are clean, cozy and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. Peter Ben was a great host: incredibly nice, helpful and very polite. We would come back anytime and miss it already. Thank you for the great time!

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Andrés garden apartment. Communication with Andrés was straightforward and he always replied promptly. The place is very easy to find, has self check-in and ample off street parking. The apartment was clutter-free, spotlessly clean and toasty warm on arrival. It was our first visit to Aflenz and we loved the charm of the village and the rugged beauty of the surrounding mountains. Although there was not much snow this year we managed a short skitour by taking the chairlift up to the Aflenz Bergalm and then skinned up to Schönleitenhaus. We also had an enjoyable day skiing at Brunnalm and the nearby Turnau skifield (which probably had the best snow). Overall we are very happy that we chose to stay at Andrés place and would highly recommend it to others. We hope to be able to return later in the summer and explore a bit more of the beautiful Hochschwab region!

This is the second time we spent a weekend at Kathrin's place because we loved it so much:) The cabin is totally cozy and in terms of furnishings, everything you need is there. The hot tub and sauna are a big plus! The communication with Kathrin was impeccable and we were allowed to stay a little longer on request.

Mega beautiful, very clean space. Great location, sauna, whirlpool, trampoline, barbecue - wood 🪵 dart board... all there!! We lacked nothing. Thanks to Eva and Marco for the warm welcome. Bottle of sparkling wine with welcome letter 🫶🏻Marco and Eva were always available and decorated the house with a lot of love. Coffee beans incl. and also many spices in the kitchen. Never experienced it yet. Plenty of towels - bathrobes - lots of storage space. Absolute recommendation for great relaxing vacation days in Austria🫶🏻 top hosts!! Best wishes to you... we'll be back for sure!

This home fulfilled our Christmas holiday expectations. The home is full of character and we really appreciate the history. What an experience for our children to stay in a home that is older than our country. The kitchen is well stocked, out in the quiet country about an hour west from Vienna. The hosts were warm, friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Always happy - beautiful accommodation - clean and maintained. Unfortunately, the dishwasher zipped - otherwise everything was great. The gas fireplace was also very pleasant.

Despite the minor issues with the accommodation, we got a perfect refund. Beautiful new apartment. Host great communication. Recommended 🖤

The location was very quiet and the surroundings wonderful. There are some animals on site and nearby which is very nice. The place was very clean and the check-out information was very detailed. The only thing that was tedious was the communication in advance regarding check-in. We received information for the local arrival to find the place, but none for the check-in and shortly before the arrival also no answer to a request.

We really enjoyed the days and the wonderful view. The location was perfect for hikes, excursions, but also for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. Thanks Barbara for the great place! We felt more than comfortable and will definitely be back!! Best regards, Luca and Babsi :)
