The cottage is at the back edge of the park in a very quiet place. You walk directly from the cottage so into the forest where you can make many walks and beautiful bike rides. Park de Hoge Veluwe is also around the corner. You can also make fun day trips to cities such as Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Deventer and Zutphen.
