Monthly Rentals in Holcombe Rogus

Had a lovely and peaceful time! Carla answered any questions really quickly before we arrived, and both Carla and her husband were very friendly and helpful with charging my car after we arrived. Clearly they also were extremely mindful we would want privacy, and this was perfect. The accommodation is roomy for a couple, very clean and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable, and happy in our surroundings. A few minutes walk away is a traditional pub. Not a “posh” place, but looked like good portions of quality food. We just enjoyed propping up the bar and having a few drinks with the locals. There is a folder Carla has put together with lots of info in the accommodation, and suggestions for local walks from the door. We walked all three following the directions, all were lovely, especially the one that takes you along a disused rail line. Beautiful accommodation, relaxing, beautiful area, and lovely respectful hosts. 10/10.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our dog and our 1 year old. The cottage was lovely, with a beautiful wisteria hanging over it. It was clean inside and had everything we needed for our stay, including treats and blankets for the dog, and a good travel cot and high chair for our toddler. We were made to feel welcome by the hosts and they were easily reachable, and made some good recommendations on where to visit during our stay, and on local walks. There was a welcome pack that had lots of helpful information for our stay, including where the nearest beaches were, local shops and restaurants, and on locak walks. We also loved that there was breakfast hamper waiting for us with a yummy cream tea in ut - just what we needed after a day of travelling! Iveral we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Comfortable house with everything we needed. The parking really only suits a small car, so it was a tight fit. Appreciate the 11am checkout time.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Cider Barn. George and Sue were great hosts and the barn itself, with working cider press is a fascinating piece of living history. The accommodation above the barn is clean, comfortable and well equipped, and has great views out over the surrounding countryside - we plan to return sometime soon. Many thanks!
