Enter into a magical courtyard off the Royal Mile guarded by four blue and gold dragons and you step back in time to a mystical period. The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We live locally so can meet guests on arrival and be available for any questions or to provide information about local amenities. The apartment is located in the Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh. It's a 10-minute walk to Holyrood Palace, a great selection of independent cafes, bars, bakeries, and good public transport to other parts of the city. The apartment is exactly one mile from Waverley Train Station which is a lovely 15/20min walk or 5mins in a taxi ride. Edinburgh Airport is located outwith the city, this is either a 30/40mins taxi ride (£20-25), or an airport bus or the tram and then a 15/20mins walk (or a second bus/taxi). Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Peaceful sunny & central artists flat with parking

Located just 15-20 mins walk to Holyrood Palace and the foot of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh's Old Town and right next to Queens Park, and the volcanic peak of Arthur's seat. This artists flat is a little rough around the edges and rustic in nature but it's a special place that's spacious, bright and peaceful, despite being close to town. The Flat is perfect for Concerts & Rugby at Murrayfield Stadium; the Castle & Royal Mile is 10minutes away.

Lovely Guest Suite in Central Edinburgh

Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.
