It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Dean Village is the most idyllic central location in Edinburgh with Princes Street being only a short 6 min walk away. Haymarket train station is within walking distance of the apartment.

The apartment is located on a historic listed building near Edinburgh Castle. It is particularly suited to couples enjoying a city break or romantic getaway. NCP Parking (covered) is available at Kings Terrace. Paid on street Parking is available (free Sundays). Both Waverley and Haymarket train stations are a short taxi ride or a 10-15min walk. From Edinburgh airport, 25-35 min No pets, no children, sadly. No smoking. Smart TV only - no live TV check in from 3pm to 10pm (max) check out 10am
