“Chris’s “tent” getaway exceeded my expectations. He provides all of the necessary essentials; towels, bedding, toilet and you can’t beat the outdoor tree house shower! This is the glamp you’ve been needing to refresh from everyday life. We enjoyed sitting by the river, cooking over the fire/grill, and watching all of the local wildlife across the river. This is a must stop stay!”
Cabin stay with a campground feel waterfront access boating, fishing kayaking camp fires hiking and more close to sleeping bear dunes and lake Michigan great getaway place. Pet friendly and please no indoor smoking. Completely furnished, fishing boat, kayaks and large canoe available to use. Excellent fall salmon fishing on Platte and Betsie rivers great time for fall color tours also.
“The stay at Craig’s place worked out very well. The home was clean, comfortable and in a wonderful area. We went to northwest Michigan area to fish and therefore did not spend much time at the home other than to eat dinner, take showers and sleep. Everything at the home was as advertised and worked well for us.”
This place is a winter and summer wonderland. Our cottage is a small 50's style with much character tucked away in the woods. We’re surrounded by the 70,000 acre Sleeping Bear Dunes. There’s plenty of skiing, canoeing, hiking and fishing, peace and quiet. We're on the boarder of Benzie and Leelanau Counties, the best of wine regions this side of the Mississippi and a true artisanal food destination It's a short drive to Honor, Empire or Glen Arbor. Traverse City is 25 miles east.
“I grew up camping at the Platte river. The nostalgia of m22 will never go away. Coming back as an adult I have learned there are not many places to stay near esch road or the dunes. I was so exited to find the lemon drop. We had peaceful & quiet mornings sipping coffee and sitting in the back deck. The lemon drop is the prefect location for nature and seeing pure Michigan. Timothy was a great host and we loved the place. It was clean, quiet and provided the nature style vacation we needed for a getaway. We will be back!!”
