"The Roost" is a bright 1400 sqft. 2 bedroom c.1890 cottage that has been recently renovated and painted located on a two acre property with a coffee roaster Green Tree Coffee and Tea as well as another very small cabin called "The Lair". We are located 400 yards from Lincolnville Beach, 2 miles from Mt. Battie State park, 4 miles from downtown Camden, and 12 miles from Belfast. The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.
