Castricum aan Zee is rich in hiking and cycling routes in the dunes, forests and bulb fields. And our North Sea beach is easily accessible by bike. It also has a train station with Intercity connection. Alkmaar and Central Amsterdam is 20 minutes away. Cafes and restaurants are widely available in beautiful Castricum. A large shopping mall and supermarkets are open 7 days.

La Viola Vacation Home The vacation home is the original guest house of Villa La Viola. The vacation home is located on the village meadow Wijk aan Zee and is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the beach and the sea. The house is suitable for two people as standard, can be expanded to a maximum of 4 people for an additional fee, and consists of a living room combined with kitchen, separate toilet and a separate bathroom and 4 sleeping places on the floor. The house has its own parking facilities.

It is a quiet spot behind the dunes in the village of Wijk aan Zee, on walking distance (10 min.) from the widest beach of Holland. The apartment has all facilities and there is also a nice terrace with a wide view over the village. The apartment has a private entrance and features a small kitchen, a lovely bathroom and a great bed. You also have a private parking place and there are two bicycles available. Enjoy!

Cozy studio in the center of the village of Driehuis, between IJmuiden and Santpoort, with many opportunities for cycling to the beach, sea, and dunes. Bicycles available. The bus station is 2 minutes away, and the train station 8 minutes away from Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Alkmaar. From the studio, it is 10 minutes from the DFDS Seaways ferry line connecting IJmuiden to New Castle.......... a private studio near Amsterdam... A wonderful bike ride in the dunes. The studio has its own entrance.

Loft in old fire station of Wijk aan Zee

Come and stay in the old Wilhelminaschool from 1884. In a quiet street is our building that was once built as a school, then served as a fire station and where we now live. This third classroom has been refurbished with a lot of love and patience and has now been transformed into a cozy 70m2 loft. Because the space has an open staircase and fairly open balustrade, the apartment is not suitable for small children. Kids from 7 years old are welcome.

Totally renovated in 2019: Small recreational home in a cozy courtyard with 14 other cottages with open living room/kitchen, toilet with shower, bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200). From the bedroom, you can reach the garden/seating area. Satellite TV and Ziggo. Unfortunately, not suitable for children. No smoking!! This beautiful accommodation is ideal for families with up to 4 adults and/or children. It offers a warm playful atmosphere with a lovely pellet stove in the living room and a lovely kitchen that is fully equipped. The space has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds that can also be pushed together. The private garden is a highlight, with 2 comfortable loungers and a lounge sofa.

Do you want to enjoy peace and quiet in a rural setting? Spend the night in our cozy Tiny House overlooking the meadows. Discover nature, the cosy village or hike out to the nearby beaches. The cottage is equipped with all comforts such as a dishwasher, music system, fast WiFi, TV and air conditioning. Please note: the Tiny House is not accessible by public transport, private transport is necessary.
