The space
Hob House is situated 15 minutes from the busy Nairobi City centre. This charming home is the perfect place to come for relaxation after exploring the city's busy life. Each bedroom is individually designed to European standards, Peter's wife who is very keen on interior design has decorated all bedrooms with great taste combining her varied backgrounds, plus all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is staffed with Kenyan cooks who are knowledgeable in European cooking as well as many African dishes.

Our guest(s) will enjoy a home away from home, with a beautiful landscaped garden for relaxation and meditation. The surrounding area provides safe and quiet walking routes for those who like nature, as well as being only ten minutes drive to Karura Forest where you can hike for 5kms or 10kms. Hob is 10 minutes drive from three major shopping centres including; The Village Market, Westgate Mall, Sarit Centre in Westlands. And opening soon, Two Rivers Mall!

Nairobi National Park is 25 minutes drive away where the guest(s) can enjoy watching the wildlife. There is mini-bus with a driver available to ensure the guests have transport at their convenience which has daily and weekly charges. We also have reliable Taxi drivers to call whenever necessary.

There is a daily laundry service (ironing and washing) with charges.

Hob House is an experience that one can never forget as you travel to East Africa. 'Hob' mean love on Arabic means and this is what we hope you will feel when you step inside the house.

Hob house owners Kelly and Peter believe in capacity building of local youth and share 20% of room rates charged to train and empower the four staff members at Hob House.
