Walking from the main subway station as well as location is bad location for those who want to visit the main sightseeing spots in Kyoto in a short period (only 2or3days also first visit in kyoto)
For the long-term travelers and Kyoto repeaters who want to find the essence of Kyoto based on old-fashioned townscapes living in plenty of places are good location as a base for exploring the northern part of the city
