Hoffman House is a historic home in Fairbury, IL. Built in 1885 by one of the city's founders, you will find hand-carved ornate woodwork, Italian marble fireplaces, and grand furniture in Victorian style. We are centrally located within minutes from the Fairbury Legion Speedway, Daves Supermarket, Walton's Center, and other area attractions. We have put together an area guide for you to plan your stay and be immersed in small-town America.

The space
The house has 4 suites with private baths. The Honeymoon suite, the Family Suite, the Maid's Quarters, and an accessible room on the ground floor. Each suite has its' own private bathroom. Downstairs we have the kitchen, sunroom, formal dining room, library, and den. We can comfortably accommodate 12 people. You are welcome to bring air mattresses for additional bedding and will be charged $20 for each additional person.

This listing gives you access to the entire property including outdoors where we have a grill, deck, firepit, picnic table, and bag boards available for your use. Space on the ground floor is utilized by Take 5 Rendezvous tapas and wine bar which is open on select evenings.

I'm just a small town girl who bought a historic house in her hometown to preserve a piece of history and share this gem with the community and those visiting our community. In addition to the Airbnb rooms for rent, we host community events such as wine tastings, board game nights, and euchre tournaments to promote social connections. Groups have found it quite fun to rent the entire house for murder mystery parties, family reunions, anniversary parties and more!
