Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hubbard Lake

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

The home was beyond expectations and included everything you could need and more. It was secluded and the natural beauty was breathtaking! The host was immediately responsive when we had a question and exceedingly accommodating. The hot tub was perfect on a cold misty morning overlooking the serene river view just a few steps from the deck. Highly recommended and hoping to return next year.

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

The home and property was so peaceful, relaxing and had everything we needed for our family reunion. Certain areas could use some maintenance or a deep clean but that is totally overshadowed with everything else the property has to offer. We’ve already booked for next year and are excited ti he coming back a second time.

No complains at all about their place. It was the perfect size for me and my wife and great driving distance from anything you would want to do

Bailey was a great host. She was responsive and helpful when we had issues. The house was nice, clean, and spacious.

This place is out of a dream. A perfect spot to unwind. Right on the lake. Has all the amenities. Nothing else I would change about this spot. This is my second visit and will definitely not be the last.

Bill was a very nice and responsive host, giving us anything from movie recommendations to good restaurants in the area. Any time I messaged him with questions he messaged back within the hour. The house was just as beautiful as expected and very well cleaned and maintained. I definitely plan on going back in the future!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

Our family took our spring break vacation at this wonderful place! We were able to unplug from the real world and enjoy time together! The location was wonderful! Even though it was cold, we had the game room downstairs and a bunch of board games that were provided by Brenda! The best part was the VHS tapes that our children never had seen before. The kids loved it as much as we did! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The house was very nice. It was spacious and clean. It was close to restaurants and other stores. We had a nice, relaxing time.

This place was an incredible experience. My whole family loved it and felt super cool with an exclusive island to our selfs. The house was clean and my boys loved the outside. We stayed up late reuniting with family by the fire and the sunsets were incredible. I would tap in advance for the boat reservations to lock those in. It was so great we plan on going back once a year. The garage is also an arcade which was a pleasant surprise because it wasn’t in the original details. They have plenty of water toys and much more. If you are reading this it’s your sign to book. ✌️

Wow.. what an amazing experience, between the host and the property 10/10! Very proactive and professional host, beautiful, cozy, and welcoming Airbnb! A week stay turned into a month stay and lucky for us it was an off season and the host was able to accommodate as needed be! Between the lake view every morning and just in general beautiful property I would highly recommend booking here. Thank you Jeremy for an amazing stay and for just being a great host.

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! A very cozy and convenient place to stay. Lots of space and activities to do. Price wasn’t bad and they’re pet friendly. Definitely will be booking again!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

Loved this little gem - very homey. The view of the lake was wonderful and the neighborhood quiet and cozy. Lots of games to pass the time. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The laundry was super handy with our grandkids. Would love to return in the summer - hot tub was a treat in the spring cool weather!

Brian’s home away from home is cozy and just far enough away From the busy city. It is spacious and accommodates several people. It is close to fishing, kayaking, and trails. He even allowed our treasured dog to come with us which saved us the trouble of boarding our dog. If you want a place that brings you to nature’s corner this home will fulfill that.

We loved staying here for a little weekend getaway! Dorene and John were so helpful and kind. The place was awesome so close to everything! Everything was so cozy and well put together, the hot tub with view is awesome!! We for sure will be back

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was just as amazing as the first time. Great communication by the hosts and a beautiful home with all of the amenities. The location itself is private, beautiful and close to so many fun local attractions. We are so thankful we found this place and we are already excited to stay here again. Thank you Dorene and John!!
