Holiday rentals with lake access in Huizen

The place was just like the photos, lovely and clean and nice extras like paddle boards for on the lake and a hot tub to relax in at the end of a day sightseeing. Great comfy furniture which was nice. Super quiet surroundings and a lovely sunset if you get back early enough. Used as a base for the tulip fields and Amsterdam. Would return again without question if a holiday took us back in this direction.

Incredibly nice and helpful hosts. The house is a little secluded but quiet in a holiday home park. Whether you want to take a small tour with the canoes or bikes (included in the price) or explore the larger cities such as Amsterdam or Rotterdam by car - the house offers a perfect starting point for this. And there is hardly anything better than ending the evening in the hot tub.

We had 4 very nice days in the idyllic surroundings and the very nice house. There were five of us there and we had a dog with us too. Everything was a great fit. Going to the cottage and exploring the area was also really fun. We would definitely love to come back again. Best regards and thank you. Winkler family

Very nice contact with quick responses from Wouter. The location of the house is wonderful, quiet and with a great view of the water all around. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and the house is exactly as described in the listing. It is not far to lisse to Keukenhof, Utrecht and Amsterdam.

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

It was a great stay at Demi et Bas's. Quiet and relaxing environment, easy to access to Amsterdam between the acoube train station or the arena parking lot. A few more degrees and we could have enjoyed the magnificent terrace it will be for another time! Thank you again for your responsiveness to our questions!

Anne received us very well and responded very quickly to our messages. The accommodation is on a very peaceful street, close to restaurants and small shops if needed. A very pretty village with its beautiful little alleys. Breakfast is exceptional. Special note for orange juice, strawberry jam, and super creamy yogurt. Thanks to Anne for her kind attention and availability.

Mr. Mike was great, very kind, the house is great and the place is very beautiful. It was a nice weekend.

The harbor courtyard was easy to find, the check in was just hassle-free. The apartment fully corresponded to the description. The highlight is the view of the Loosdrechter Ser. The supermarket on the opposite side of the street makes your shopping very easy. The central location ( about 10 minutes to the highway) allow quick access to the sights. will be happy to come back. What a wonderfully spacious apartment. It was more spacious than it looked in the photos. In the evening very cozy with the stove on. All amenities were good. For us the perfect base for a few days of nature and city. We were there in summer winter but for other seasons also a really nice place to stay. Thank you!

Lovely place, a real home-from-home. Fantastic connectivity via public transport to whole of Netherlands. We took our car, but didn't need to use it very often. Very friendly and helpful hosts, couldn't fault them

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

We spent 4 nights over Easter in Rudi‘s cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very bright and clean with a comfy bed. and sofa, a great shower and excellent lighting (this is something that I often miss in hotel rooms). The view from the terrace is outstanding. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours there after cycling in the area or visiting nearby Utrecht. Rudi is a very friendly person, always smiling, giving us recommendations etc. Would re-visit anytime. Thank you, Rudi - also for the delicious welcome-cake!

Really nice house and peaceful surroundings, Edam is a Hidden Gem and just 20 mins away by bus to the city centre, the host also very responsible

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We had a wonderful, unforgettable time with Rianne and Ramond. It's one of the nicest Airbnb's we've stayed at so far. The small cottage on the lake leaves nothing to be desired. We sat outside in the countryside in the evening and watched the ducks and could marvel at the most magnificent sunsets. The place and everything around it is decorated with a lot of love for detail and stylish. In the well-equipped kitchen you could conjure up a delicious dinner. Rianne and Ramond are very nice and warm hosts. They were always available and very responsive. Dear Rianne and Ramond, Thank you for making it possible for people to have a nice time on your beautiful spot on earth. :)

Sera is a great host and everything was perfectly arranged. The stay has all the comforts and we enjoyed a weekend there
