The Old Dairy was a great location and base for our family stay.Plenty of local walks..Beresford Dale,Manifold Track and Monsal Head and Chee Stones…Gordon was the perfect host and the cottage was a lovely homely base in a lovely quiet location.We even got a lovely home baked cake to welcome us on arrival.We would stay here again for sure if we revisited the area.We also had the added benefit of an on-site EV charger at a very reasonable rate

Had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage with my friend and my 2 Labradors. The cottage was just perfect, spotless, cozy and situated in the most beautiful location. John greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and was on hand for any help we needed- including plasters for our blisters from all the beautiful walks! Will definitely return!

Beautiful little cottage which worked well for our family of 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Great location across the road from a cafe and a few minutes walk from a pub. Lots of lovely walks to do from the cottage and easy to park. Cottage was very well equipped, fire was great and thank so much for the welcome pack for us and the dog! Lovely little terrace to watch the sun set from.

If you are after peaceful location in beautiful surroundings..this is your spot! Very comfy, has everything you need to stay for few days, only short drive away from some amazing pubs, easy access to Peak District walks. Host very helpful, friendly and responsive
