In front of the house, the heron stands in the lake and there is the possibility of seeing buzzards, swallows, ducks, etc. as well as large flocks of starlings in spring and autumn. We live directly on the Wiedaudeich, which belongs to a large nature reserve with a fascinating birdlife and at the same time forms the border with Denmark. Here you can experience the famous sort sol, the black sun, in the spring and autumn, the breathtaking dance of ten thousand starlings in the evening sky.

Enjoy the light North Frisian breeze on the terrace with a cup of coffee. Take a bike ride on the dike to Dagebüll (13 km) and from there to Föhr or Amrum. The way to Sylt or Denmark is also not far... Should the North Frisian weather show its dark side, the fireplace with its cozy warmth is ready.

We modernized the approx. 200 m² vacation home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail in 2021. We have the house equipped and furnished as we like it best.
