The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and a combined living room and kitchen. The living room has a sofa bed for 2 people and a flat screen. There is a hot tub on the deck, a large outdoor table with 6 chairs. Bills are prohibited in the house. The cottage comes with a rowboat which may be used at your own risk. If men have the Fishing Card, you can fish in the lake. 27 km to Húsavík and 60 km to Akureyri.

The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.
