The cabin maintains a high standard, with underfloor heating in the hallway, bathroom, living room and kitchen, as well as a comfortable, soft double bed. There is a grocery shop about 4 km away, and there are some lovely hiking areas nearby.

Enjoy the sea in peaceful surroundings. Short distance to hikes in forests and fields, or top hikes to one of the many peaks in Ibestad municipality. The house is located beautifully down by the sea. Good fishing just outside. The place is called Sørvik and has a few permanent residents. Ferry to Harstad, speedboat to Tromsø and bridge to the mainland towards Sjøvegan and beyond. Ibestad consists of 2 islands connected by tunnel. Jokeren in Hamnvik is open from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays. Matkroken in Ånstad is open 24 hours, use "Coop key" app.

In the shore there is a large area and barbecue. 3 km to the nearest store in Årstein. Foldvik Brygger is 11 km away, as well as the boat museum in Gratangsbotten. It is about 40 km to Narvik, and about 35 km to the polar park.
