Rye's a very pretty, historic town. We're situated in a great location in a quiet cul de sac, a short walk from the town centre and train station. You'll have upstairs pretty much to yourself as the host will be downstairs and will only use the bathroom to shower in the daytime, when you're out and about. Good car parking availability too. While we don't provide breakfast, there's a wealth of eating places in Rye to choose from.
“In a really quiet, charming lane with easy parking, just a small 10 minutes walk from the center of the stunning little town of Rye. Very easy communication with Sophie, a warm welcome and a delightful, airy and comfortable bedroom. I was in a pickle with my rental car and Sophie was really helpful, she has great advice on place to visit in town, and I really enjoyed the carefully crafted little note cards around the room and bathroom with practical information. I will go back with my eyes closed.”
They say salt breezes are a balm for the soul. At Seasalt Cottage in Camber Sands, you will find these breezes in abundance, along with coastal character and high-tech amenities. Plus, of course, an ideal location at the award-winning Whitesand development, just a 5-minute stroll from one of England’s most beautiful beaches.
“Richard and Sophie could not have been more hospitable. We arrived late to a lovely welcome and beautiful Christmassy feel. A little gift package was so thoughtful and appreciated. Highly modern throughout with touch buttons, Alexas etc. Lots of information and easy access into the house with luggage. A really enjoyable, cosy and comfortable weekend. Thank you.”
Cosy double room rear of terraced house with ensuite bathroom, clean linen is always used. The room has a lockable wardrobe, there are no locks on the bedroom door. Your guaranteed total privacy. Parking to the rear less than 5 min walk from Tillingham Avenue (opposite no. 16). Rye train station 5 min walk, 10 min walk to Rye Citadel. Access to my home from back garden, using the public footpath behind houses, starting at the Queen Adelaide Pub or the first right entering Tillingham Avenue.
“You can expect to have a nice quiet comfortable room which is very clean and the attached bathroom is very useful. Access and parking is straight forward and your very much self contained, Andrea is there if you want her, but she leaves you to get on with your stay.”
