OPEN 20 March 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies a quiet, traditional Japanese-style inn, where only one group is accommodated per day: B&B Morino Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner are included (see photos for reference). ⚫︎ We can also provide meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the property is for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time as freely as if you were renting the entire building. This spacious area, measuring approximately 230 m², can accommodate up to eight people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also excellent access to Yoshinoyama, a popular cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kinnosuke-sanji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roof while creating a comfortable space for you to enjoy.The tranquillity of the mountains, the gentle light that shines at night.Here, you can enjoy a moment to forget about everyday life. To enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, we recommend travelling by car. (If you wish, we can arrange transport to and from the nearest train station) Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing stay.

Located on a hill with a view, you can see the view of Nara from the rim and the window on the second floor.Fully equipped with a dryer, washing machine, and a system kitchen, making it convenient for long-term stays. From Torii-mae Station, a 10-minute walk away, it takes 15 minutes by cable car to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park. The night view of Osaka from the summit is so spectacular that it was recognised with the 'COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019'. You can also enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere along the way from the inn to Hozan-ji Temple with a view of restaurants and other places. The early morning walk is very refreshing. Ikoma Station, a 10-minute walk away, is a convenient station served by four lines. There are slopes and stairs from Ikoma Station, and if you have large luggage, I recommend taking a taxi from the station (around 700 yen) 10 minutes walk to supermarkets, department stores and eateries. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
