Holiday rentals in Il Macchione

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

Aurora was a very responsive host and accommodated any needs we had. Place was as listed. About 30 min to downtown by bus. Be aware of the last bus back to the air bnb as we missed it and had to buy a taxi back. Overall a good place to stay if you want a peaceful stay outside of the city.

It was a nice stay, nice location as well and the hosts were great.

Fabio’s place is perfect for a trip to Bologna, there are lots of little shops and cafes close by and it is a short walk to the Piazza Maggiore, bars and restaurants. It is very near to Porta Saragozza, the first of the gates up to the San Luca monastery. The apartment was extremely clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, would definitely recommend!

Sergio's place is fantastic and Sergio is a great host! I almost don't want to say how wonderful our experience was, for fear it will be hard to get in the future. The location is walkable to anywhere you want to be in Florence. The apartment is spacious and having two bathrooms was convenient. Sergio was incredibly responsive and just gave you the sense he was there to make your trip great. This was our first time to Italy and it is going to be hard to find places in other locations that live up to the standard Sergio and his place set.

Ideal apartment to stay in Firenze. Meters from Campo di Marte train station (and Fiorentina Stadium💜⚜️). A super quiet and cozy neighborhood. Andrea and Aurora always willing. I highly recommend it. I would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in this lovely apartment in Lucca. The location was perfect, and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Really lovely apartment! Everything very clean and well furnished, Lucia was very helpful to help us with check-in, excellent value for money and the area is very quiet. Approved!

Location is very good and room was clean. Easy to check in and get in. Most of all the host Alessandra was super nice. But be aware that in Firenze(actually most of Italy), there are many mosquittos. Prepare your mosquitto spray!
