Cabin 1 - Unit 2 at Blue Mountain Rest

We are pet friendly but there are pooch fees and a pet policy. Please go to "additional" House Rules. Unit 2 is only one of 4 cabins on this property. We have other listings in case this one is not available. BM Rest in the center of the Adirondack Mts in NY State. We are open year round, spring, summer, winter & fall. Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

Waterfront Artist Retreat

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Our cozy apartment attached to our garage can sleep 2 guests and provides a unique western vibe with views of our horses from the bedroom window. The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in. This is also a great location for many of the tourist attractions like hiking, boating, fishing, skiing/snowboarding and snowmobiling.

Built by a local craftsman with logs from our area and local river stone for the fireplace. Cabin is completely modernized. A lovely porch looking towards the pond and exterior lights along the Pond. Want to feel disconnected? This is our cabin. The cabin is a beautiful country space in between two small ponds. There are various animals described as well as a mountain to hike and kayaks. There are dozens of recommendations on places to go, all you have to do is ask. There isn't electricity, but there is a shower as well as clean drinking water, a stove and grill as well as an out house. It's The True Adirondack Experience.
