A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

Umieru shiro, a private inn in a village overlooking a quiet cove. From the deck, you can look out at the sea and listen to the sound of the waves.Up to 6 people (5 adults + 1 extra bed) can stay in a space enveloped by the warmth of wood.Great for families and friends. The first floor has a bright living room and kitchen, and the second floor has a bedroom and a bench by the window.Equipped with Wi-Fi, kitchen appliances, and a washer and dryer, it is recommended for long-term stays and workations. If you want to enjoy both sightseeing and accommodation, we recommend a stay of 2 nights or more. You can enjoy the charm of this place more deeply by visiting Ine Funaya and Amanohashidate during the day and spending a quiet time at the inn at night. It is a convenient base for sightseeing, 30 minutes by car from Ine Funaya and Amanohashidate.Within walking distance, there is the highly transparent Kotohikihama Beach and a walking spot, and you can enjoy different ways of spending time depending on the season. Experience "living like a local" in a place a little away from the bustling tourist spots.

Built in the early Showa era and long used as a tea ceremony classroom, the townhouse has been reborn as a private rental inn, "Kyomachiya Cottage karigane". It is a 1-minute walk to the hot springs and Daikokuji Temple, which has deep ties to tea. Shino, with its unique cafes, coffee roasters, delicious Japanese confectionery stores, bakeries, and soba shops. Please use the carefully restored Kyomachiya as your base for sightseeing in northern Kyoto, where time flows slowly, with a focus on natural materials and traditional craftsmanship by Miyadai Koge and Saigo craftsmen.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

宮津市街中心部に残る築100年の純日本家屋「小粥家」 アンティーク古民具や階段箪笥、長持(布団などを収納する嫁入り道具)が飾られ、昔ながらの日本の暮らしが体験できます。 和貴宮神社裏手に佇み、神社の祝詞が静かに響いてきます。 その先には、2024年1月国の重要文化財に指定された日本最古級の木造教会堂「カトリック宮津教会」があります。 宮津駅から徒歩8分(600m)、海までは5分。スーパー、コンビニ、コインランドリーが徒歩5分圏内にあります。 日本三景·天橋立まで自転車で15分という大変恵まれた立地です。 松並木を走った先にはパワースポットとして名高い「元伊勢籠神社·真名井神社」があります。 伊根の舟屋までは市役所前からバスで約1時間、片道400円でアクセスできます。 古民家のため、家の密閉性はあまりありません。冬は暖房器具を完備していますので寒さはしのげますが、隣家との壁が薄いです。 特に夜間は大きな声や音を出さないよう、よろしくお願いいたします。 家具家財が古いため、10歳未満のお子様のご宿泊はご遠慮ください。 英語対応OK。お気軽にご相談ください。
