Villa holiday rentals in Iowa

This was the perfect home for the Slow Down Retreat. We loved using the patio to sit outside relax, chat, and enjoy the water. The bedrooms and bathrooms were more than enough and the entire home felt so warm and inviting.

Dan was responsive to any of my questions before our stay. We booked a villa for a girls relaxing weekend. The place was well stocked, gorgeous, great character preserved in the building restoration to enjoy throughout the stay, clean, homey, had a private off street parking spot, views of the river, I could go on. They paid great attention to detail to remove any frustrations of staying in a new place by labeling light switches, fans, etc. in the three level villa. The only thing that went wrong, was he forgot to order warmer April weather for us so we could sit outside and enjoy the outdoor offerings of the property. Just kidding of course. I highly recommend Dan’s place for a great weekend getaway or extended stay. It’s a true, Iowa Riverview paradise.

Great space, one of the most well stocked places I've stayed (kitchen and general house amenities - if you wanted something you just needed to look and it was usually right where you would expect it to be!). Very responsive hosts and all around nice experience.

beautiful historic home close to downtown. my sister and I were able to walk home from the bars! located on the bluff with a beautiful view, but not a good location for people with mobility issues.

Our stay was great! Much better than a hotel for our family to all meet up and spend the weekend together. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for all our meals. The grill was great too! Just one bed on main floor needs a new mattress, the mattress is caved in the middle, so very uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. Cute house, nicely decorated and lots of extras: TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, even extra toothbrushes and hair ties! Thanks, Hannah!!

Nice and spacious! Easy to park & get inside. It’s a big place for only having two bedrooms. The sofa bed worked fine for our boys except the big window made so it got light in there too early. The hosts are nice & helpful 👍🏽 Two things we didn’t like. * None of the bedrooms are connected to a bathroom. * The bedroom with the king bed has sliding double doors that looks pretty, but even shut all the way has a crack in the middle.
