Holiday rentals with beach access in Isla Bastimentos

Lucas was helpful with instructions and travel trips pror to my arrival. He and Gloria were very friendly and welcoming my entire stay. The apartment was just as described and provided everything I needed. It was great to see, hear and experience the wildlife and Lucas sharing his knowledge of the animals. It was a wonderful a relaxing 5 days. I look forward to visiting again!

The apartment is a rare find in Bocas, fully equipped, AC in the living room/kitchen, it has everything you might need, very comfortable, Raúl is an excellent host, thanks for letting us stay at your place.

Beautiful little apartment super central. All the amnesties are available, especially a lot of cooking tools. Host super helpful and friendly ❤️ We felt extremely comfortable, definitely recommended for Bocas del Toro stay

Die Unterkunft ist ein kleiner Traum. Ca. 100 Meter vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. Der Strand ist sauber und menschenleer. Es hat in der Nähe Restaurant und eine coole Bar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Da es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe gibt, lohnt es sich vor der Ankunft in Bocas einzukaufen. Das Koche hier macht sehr Spass. Im Garten wohnen Vögel, ein Faultier und viele Schmetterlinge. Sehr schön und für alle die etwas Ruhe in der Natur suchen perfekt. Wir empfehlen es allen gern weiter 🥰

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Ricardo et sa famille. La casita est située sur leur propriété au sein d’un beau jardin. Le quartier est calme et pourtant à 12 minutes en taxi ou scooter de Bocas. Vous avez le petit restaurant Dosha à 3 min à pied qui est excellent ou le Skully’s à 5 min à pied qui vous permettra aussi de louer scooters, quads, vélos etc… Ricardo est un super hôte. Il a été très réactif, prévenant, amical tout en respectant notre intimité. Il nous a même permis d’arriver bien avant le check-in et de partir bien après le check-out ! Merci encore Ricardo ;-)

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. Just finished 4 nights there and it was exactly our kind of place. Nicer than the photos. Tastefully funky and interesting. Both beds were comfortable. Had everything we need. Right on the water with nice trees and birds. Hummingbirds fluttering through. Walk to anywhere in Bocas Town. Benson was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We will 100% book here again. Fantastic value too.

Muy contenta con la casa, realmente la ubicación excelente, se puede ir caminando al centro, la casa muy linda, segura y confortable, todo muy organizado, el trato de la anfitriona esplendido muy atenta y comunicativa, las habitaciones super cómodas, en general la casa estuvo excelente para nosotros pues somos una familia variada y el hecho de tener comodidades nos hizo sentir en casa. Utensilios, ropa de cama, servicios básicos, internet, paños, baños con comodidades , aire acondicionado, orden, en fin todo en realidad cumplió con nuestras espectativas y más. Definitivamente recomiendo el hospedaje y de regresar no dudaría un instante en contactarlas nuevamente. Mil gracias por que nos sentimos en casa

Very spacious condo, beautiful well equipped kitchen, my kids loved the bath tub. Host was very responsive and friendly with local recommendations. It rained most of our stay, so I was very grateful the condo was nice.

This was amazing! I really enjoyed the location and the sounds of nature—a beautiful space to relax. Beach is right there! There are a couple of things to fix, but I can understand given the remote location. There was a smell in the cabin that was not too pleasant and wouldn't go away. The large terrace doors in the living room were locked, and it would have been nice to use them for ventilation and convenience. The shower pressure is not so good. A suggestion: ask for more towels and extra bedsheets since they don't dry well in the jungle weather. The bed was very comfortable, the space in the house is very beautiful, and the kitchen had awesome pans for cooking. They offered basics like salt and oil for cooking, which is highly appreciated. The host was responsive, and I would definitely come back!

Jennis Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben mitten im dschungle, sehr privat, naturnah und wie auf den Fotos. Die Hütte ist super ausgestattet und man hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt soo viele unterschiedliche Tiere die man beobachten kann. Die hütte ist für echte naturliebhaber und gibt einem von der Luftfeuchtigkeit bis hin zur wundervollen Geräuschkulisse und der authentischen regenwasser outdoor dusche ein echtes dschunglefeeling. Jenni ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer super erreichbar und so bemüht alles zu tun, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt halt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jedenfall für alle weiter die Lust auf ein paar Tage absolute Ruhe und Natur haben :)

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!

Großartige Unterkunft in toller Lage! Etwas schwierig erreichbar, wenn man mit eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Mit dem Van mussten wir gerade auf den letzten Metern etwas vorsichtig fahren, um nicht aufzusetzen. Das wird aber mit einer großartigen Umgebung und einer tollen Unterkunft belohnt. Wir haben viele Tiere in der direkten Umgebung gesehen: Faultiere, verschiedene Affen, Kolibris, Papageien, Pfeilgiftfrösche, sogar eine Rainbow Boa(!), Lederschildkröten die am Strand ihre Eier ablegten (Anfang April), ein wildes, warmes Meer, dass mit etwas Vorsicht und etwas Kenntnis von Strömungen doch ganz gut zu handeln war in unserer Zeit - Schwimmen unmöglich, bisschen in den Wellen toben ging gut für Erwachsene, während die Kinder in den Bachmündungen spielten, tolle Ausflüge zur Isla Zapatilla und an den Starfish Beach (im April ist überall sehr wenig los), großes Glück mit dem Wetter. Wenn wir wieder nach Panama gehen, werden wir wieder hierher zurück kommen. Danke!

We really enjoyed Ron's place. Everyone there was extremely helpful. The property manager, Augusto was extremely helpful in setting up anything we wanted to do. Breakfast was prepared for us by Augusto's wife each morning, and she is a great cook. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious and spotless. Each day while we were out seeing the island, the house was cleaned and our laundry was done for us. The pool is perfect. Bluff beach is by far the prettiest beach on the island, there is no need to go anywhere else if you just want to lounge on the beach. There are local restaurants within walking distance. Be advised, you will need to take taxis to other attractions on the island. Roundtrip taxi to and from town is around $45-$50. That said, I will gladly pay the taxi fee to stay at a place outside all the noise of Bocas Town, especially one as nice as this one. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a beach all to yourself, this is the place to stay.

Alli and Sergio’s place is amazing and they are exceptional hosts! This was the best and most unique Airbnb experience ever. Alli is incredibly helpful and warm, and gave us recommendations that made our trip very special. Casa Buchu is like your own private resort in the rainforest…so beautiful and peaceful! The breakfast treats Alli and Sergio provided, including banana bread, marmalade, and butter that were all homemade, were so delicious and appreciated. Everything was perfect and we were very sad to leave their little paradise.

Escogí La Caribeña entre tantas opciones porque me llamó la atención el deck , las habitaciones y el poder tener salida al mar desde este espacio. Puedo asegurar que no me equivoqué. ¡Qué lugar tan maravilloso! Es un paraíso sobre el mar. Joy y Edu hacen un gran trabajo como anfitriones, están pendientes de todas tus posibles necesidades, siempre te brindan recomendaciones, y por si fuera poco tienen un restaurante hermosísimo a una distancia caminable desde el hospedaje. Son unos anfitriones tan atentos que hasta te obsequian shots de cortesía en su restaurante Ohana, fui todos los días porque la comida era bastante adictiva. Este hospedaje lo tiene todo! Usé los kayaks que se alquilan en el hospedaje y pude recorrer los alrededores de la isla. Finalmente, una lancha me recogió en el deck gracias a la gestión de Joy, quién organizó un tour para mí. Experiencia 10/10 Volvería mil veces ☺️

A beautiful place to hide out from the world for a while. While only a short walk from Old Bank and close to lots of other houses, the cottage felt very private. Wonderful sea breezes, beautiful view and tropical gardens, falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was such a treat. We loved the little beach and swimming hole just out front. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Tons of fans everywhere. Nina and Nesto were super responsive to any questions or requests that we had. A great stay!

We loved our two night stay. Was well located and had many restaurants within walking distance. I will happily stay here again! Exactly as described. The restaurant next door named gypsea had the best lassi mango drink I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

Awesome base to spend time between Puerto Viejo and Manzanila. The house was very comfortable, surrounded by wildlife, and perfectly placed to walk to the beach and to many restaurants. Also very easy to drive to PV or south and explore. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time. The place was comfortable, spacious, beautiful, private and modern. Kitchen had all utensils needed. We were able to see and heard birds, and monkeys. The best was a little walking distance from a peaceful, beautiful beach. Cinzia, was quick to respond and answered all our questions, so kind and helpful. We just loved her place and we are planning to came back again 🌸❤️🌺 Pasamos un tiempo maravilloso, El lugar es cómodo, Espacioso hermoso y privado. La cocina tenía todos los utensilios necesarios. Pudimos ver y oír pájaros y los monos. Lo mejor de todo es que la playa estaba a una distancia muy corta nos íbamos caminando. Cinzia fue tan amable, nos contestaba las preguntas inmediatamente nos daba solución a con lo que necesitábamos.. definitivamente planeamos en volver. Extremadamente recomendable. Lilly y Daniel
